DIY Dogs Play has two safe, secure, floodlit dog runs at Sandy Lane, Grasmere, Swadlincote, in the South Derbyshire countryside. The owners say each run is built with 6ft fencing round the edges and a solid fence down the middle, has secure parking for one car within the run and over 200m of perimeter paths, and that you have exclusive use of one run during your 30 to 60-minute booking.
A booking covers one car, up to three dogs and up to four people. Water is in a watering can in each run and from a tap at the front of the barn, and spare poo bags are provided with bins emptied daily. The park is open from 8am to 10pm every day, and 30-minute passes start from £4.50; bundle passes are also sold. Dogs in season are welcome.

Access and practical information
Getting in
Park on the block paving within the run you have booked and do not drive on the grass. Use the paths in frosty or wet weather. Arrive and leave on time. You can edit or cancel a booking free of charge up to two hours before your slot.

Parking is available at the field.
Opening and sessions
Open 8am to 10pm every day. Bookings are 30 to 60 minutes. Off-peak bundle passes are valid Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm.
