About this field
Two private 6ft-fenced fields, about 6 and 3 acres, at Longdon between Lichfield and Rugeley, booked online from £11 for 50 minutes.
K9 Acres is a purpose-built private dog field business on Hood Lane in Longdon, between Lichfield and Rugeley. It has two fields on one site: Country, a large field of about 6 acres surrounded mostly by hedges, and Meadow, a secluded field of about 3 acres. Both are fenced at 6ft around the whole perimeter and are checked twice a day.
Each field has a shelter and a bench, its own water supply and bowls, and dog waste bins and bags, with a paddling pool in the summer. Country has a willow tunnel, a sandpit and low jump poles; Meadow has a tunnel. The owners say Meadow was designed with reactive dogs in mind, and keep the two fields apart and screened from each other. Ponies can be seen in the next field from Meadow.
Sessions are 50 minutes, from £11 for one dog plus £1 for each extra dog. Country has no limit on dog numbers and Meadow takes up to six. Each field has a two-vehicle limit. New customers book an introductory visit first, and there are no toilets on site.
